Local authorities across the UK are searching for solutions to prevent or reduce air pollution, including looking at options such as Clean Air Zones (CAZ).

Around 70 local authorities have been charged to look at creating plans in order to combat this problem. These plans could range from access restrictions based on vehicle emissions, to more targeted measures such as bus retrofit schemes.
