We are looking for an Applications Technician to join our current team. The position will involve working with customers internal and external in the design, development, fitment and testing of the Eminox product range. The role will be suited to a time served, conscientious HGV/PSV technician who has an eye for detail and who wishes to enhance their skills, knowledge and career ambitions in a dynamic forward thinking business. The post although based in Lincolnshire, will demand extensive UK travel which is fully expensed. The successful candidate will need to display an in depth knowledge of HGV/PSV electrical, air and fuel systems, as well as having previous experience with Euro 4/5 exhaust systems. All this will need to be coupled with the ability to operate under their own initiative with minimal supervision.
We are looking for a FEA Engineer to join our current team. The FEA Engineer is a key engineering role providing technical expertise to a number of business areas. The role requires that you be able to undertake and deliver FEA analysis on complex systems, plus be able to suggest changes and improvements in the design that will drive better products for our end customers. The role will support internal and external customer. Presentation to both internal and external customers will be required.
Eminox will be joining local authorities and bus operators for the Low Emission Bus Workshop in Manchester on 30th March. The event, organsied by the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership, will cover a range of topics including Clean Air Zones and other low emission bus policies. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) is calling on bus operators to take faster action on updating their fleets, as new figures show upgrading London’s buses with Euro VI vehicles could cut NOx emissions produced by buses in the capital by up to 75%.
