Many cities are introducing local emissions regulations to tackle local air quality issues. These are known as Low Emission Zones (LEZs) or Environmental Zones (E-Zones).
Eminox has helped thousands of vehicles to meet the requirements of the London Low Emission Zone, but this is not the only scheme in Europe that affects heavy duty vehicles.
Cities in Germany, Holland and Denmark have also introduced E-Zones to reduce pollution from vehicles entering those cities. If you travel into these countries you could find your vehicle is banned from more than 50 cities.
If your vehicle does not meet the emissions standard required for the E-Zones, Eminox can provide specialist emissions technology that upgrades your vehicle to comply with the E-Zone rules and allow it to enter these cities.

Eminox is Europe's leading manufacturer of retrofit particulate filters. The Eminox CRT® (Continuously Regenerating Trap) has been used as part of air quality improvement schemes in cities across Europe, including 8000 buses in London and 3000 buses in Paris. The CRT® system is a closed diesel particulate filter which reduces particulate matter by more than 90% as well as reducing hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide.
The Eminox CRT® has been tested and approved in accordance with rigorous ABE official retrofit filter approval method. It has KBA certification and is approved for upgrading vehicles to meet the standards for the German E-Zones and Maut Tolls. It is also approved for Dutch E-Zones.
The Eminox CRT® and FBC (Fuel Borne Catalyst) systems are approved for Danish E-Zones and the London Low Emissions Zone. CRT® and FBC systems are ideal for heavy duty vehicles such as trucks and buses.

Eminox can supply and fit a specialist CRT® emissions system suitable for your vehicle. The system will be supplied with an ABE certificate, to comply with the German E-Zone rules, you must also get a windscreen sticker. These are available from approved testing centres in Germany, we can help you make arrangements for your vehicles to be inspected and receive a windscreen sticker showing its emissions class.
To prove that you meet the standards required by the Dutch E-Zones, you can present certification for either German E-Zones or London Low Emission Zone compliance.
Danish E-Zones also required a windscreen sticker for Danish vehicles, for foreign registered vehicles this is not currently required. However, you must be able to present documents to show that a diesel particulate filter has been fitted; certificates for German E-Zones, Dutch E-Zones and the London Low Emission Zone are considered acceptable.
