list at the TfL website
I have a Euro 2 vehicle, am I compliant?
Some vehicles have PM emissions low enough to be compliant. Visit the TfL
website. If your vehicles engine is on that list and passes a smoke test, it is compliant for phase 1 (2008).
My vehicle is very clean should I have a VOSA smoke test?
No, you are only compliant if you have a Euro 3/4/5 vehicle or a Euro 2 on the eligible
engines list and pass a smoke test.
Why do I need to complete a vehicle information form to get a quotation from Eminox?
Our systems are developed to match specific vehicle and engine types, to give optimum
performance. We need all this information so we can quote for the best system for each vehicle.
What is the difference between Eminox systems and partial filters?
Eminox CRT and FBC are full filtration systems and are regenerated (clean themselves) during use.
These can achieve Euro 4 Particulate Matter (London LEZ standard for 2012) for all vehicles from Euro
1 onwards.
Where would an Eminox system be fitted?
We have 7 fitting locations - Enfield, West Thurrock, Stoke, Tamworth, Manchester,
Gainsborough and Avonmouth. We also have mobile fitting units.
What maintenance is required for Eminox CRT and FBC systems
Filters need to be cleaned, on average once per year. An electronic service indicator will
tell you when the filter needs cleaning. We offer a filter exchange scheme.
When I fit an Eminox system will I get an RPC or LEC certificate?
All Eminox systems are approved for either RPC or LEC. Once we have received your vehicle
information and provided you with a quotation, we will be able to let you know which certificate
applies.
