The unique design of the Eminox full flow diesel particulate filter (DPF) systems such as CRT® and SCRT® mean that the filters are continuously regenerating during normal operation, however, incombustible residues can still build up on the filter. Similarly FBC® systems are also designed to regenerate during use. For optimal performance, the filter needs periodic cleaning to remove incombustible ash and any excess soot and protects against potential deterioration in engine performance and fuel consumption. Failure to clean the filter can result in filter blockage, causing build up of soot and ultimately an exothermic reaction which will damage the filter.
Eminox uses next generation filter servicing technology which rejuvenates the filter to good as new condition. Filters are professionally reconditioned using Xpurge® filter cleaning technology and their performance tested and verified using Veritex® inspection technology. This is backed by a 12 month warranty for reconditioned filters. The patented cleaning process helps maintain the service interval and improves the longevity of the filter.
We offer 3 filter servicing options:
The system health check can be carried out at one of our 3 UK Customer Service Centers, in London, Stoke-on-Trent and Gainsborough, within 6 months of system installation. The filter service includes labour to remove your original filter and fit a reconditioned filter with new gaskets. This service can be carried out at one of our Customer Service Centres or at your premises.
