Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Particulate Trap are generic terms used to describe systems which reduce particulate matter in diesel engine exhaust emissions.
Eminox offer two types of diesel particulate filter, the Continuously Regenerating Trap (CRT) and Fuel Borne Catalyst (FBC). These are full filtration or closed filter systems, making them highly efficient in removing particulate matter. The CRT is Europe's most popular diesel particulate filter; it also virtually eliminates hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide.
