We are looking for an Applications Technician to join our current team. The position will involve working with customers internal and external in the design, development, fitment and testing of the Eminox product range. The role will be suited to a time served, conscientious car or commercial vehicle technician who has an eye for detail and who wishes to enhance their skills, knowledge and career ambitions in a dynamic forward thinking business. The post although based in Lincolnshire, will demand extensive travel. The successful candidate will need to display an in depth knowledge of modern vehicle electrical, air and fuel systems, as well as having previous experience with vehicles at Euro 4,5 and 6 emission standards. All this will need to be coupled with the ability to operate under your own initiative with minimal supervision. 

Responsibilities:
• Take an active role in our continuous improvement culture
• Discuss and agree feasibility of development concepts with Engineers
• Responsible for the interface of the company’s products into vehicle electrical, air and fuel systems
• Diagnose vehicle faults that affect the performance of the Eminox product
• Fitting of the company’s product to the required standard
• On specific projects, oversee the work of contractors

Person Specification
 
Education and Qualifications
 
• A good standard of education
• Time served recognised apprenticeship in an automotive or engineering trade
 
Previous Experience
 
• Experience of working with car or commercial vehicles
• Must have a full driving licence
• Sound comprehension of engineering drawings
• Ability to visualise how components will function in an assembly
• A full Class 1 Licence, PSV Licence and Driver CPC will be an advantage
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages will be an advantage
